• License & Software Data: License key activity, active user counts reported by your installation, and last validation timestamps, used for license management and support.
• Business Data (tenant installations only): Invoice, inventory, and GST data you enter into the MakersGST software is stored on your own server or hosted environment and is not transmitted to us except as needed for AI-assisted features (document scanning) explicitly triggered by you.

• Sarvam AI: Document intelligence (AI bill scanning). PDF documents you upload for scanning are transmitted to Sarvam's API for processing. Do not upload documents containing sensitive personal data beyond what is needed for the invoice scan.
• Legal authorities: Where required by law, court order, or government regulation.

We implement administrative and technical security measures to protect your information. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your contact and subscription data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
